Bus-mahindra collision kills 6 in Barguna

Barguna Correspondent:  At least six people were killed and five other injured in a head-on collision betweena a bus and Mahindra, local human hauler, in the district on Thursday.

The accident took place around 11.30am in Manikchhari area of Barisal and Kuakata road. 

Three of the deceased were identified as Salma Akhter (35), assistant teacher of Amtali Tarikata Govt Primary School, Shanu Howladar (40) of Bogi area and Chand Mia (55).
A Kuakata bound-bus from Barishal collided head-on with a three-wheeler, leaving six people dead on the spot and five injured.

The injured were admitted to Amtali Upazila Health Complex.
