Bulbul demands army deployment 3 days before RCC polls

Staff Correspondent, Rajshahi: BNP's mayoral candidate Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul demanded army deployment three days before the election to Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC).

He made the demand while addressing a press conference at the party office of Mohanagar (Metropolitan) BNP around 11:00am on Thursday.

“We have submitted a total of 29 allegations of breaching the electoral code of conduct to the Election Commission. But the Commission did not take any action in this regard. It has failed to keep up its neutrality ahead of the election. For the sake of holding a fair election, we have demanded army deployment three days before voting in the Rajshahi City Corporation election,” Bulbul told the press conference.
