Private car catches fire in Gazipur

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: A private car was gutted as a fire broke out in it on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Masterbari area in Gazipur City Corporation this morning.

However, no one received injured from the fire incident.

Sources said that Nepal Plane crash victim Priok was the owner of the car. Priok's cousin Mehedi Hasan was heading towards Gazipur from Zoinabazar of Sreepur around 7:00am. Meanwhile, Mehedi found technical problems with the car while he was driving it. At one stage, Hossain said, the car caught fire on the highway.

On information, a firefighter from Joydebpur fire station rushed in and doused the fire.
