Chalan Beel boat capsize: Bodies of rest 2 recovered

Pabna Correspondent: Bodies of rest two people, who went missing as a boat sank in the Chalan Beel in Chatmohar upazila on Friday evening, were recovered on Sunday morning.
 

The deceased were Billal Hossain Goni of Ishwardi Regional Agricultural Research Station and Rafiqul Now the number of death toll of the boat capsize reached 5.

Islam Swapan, son of Saidur Rahman Biswas of Ambagan in Ishwardi upazila.

Earlier on Saturday, three dead bodies were recovered. They were  Momtaz Pervin Sheuli,  wife of scientific officer Billal Hossain Goni, Shahanz Pervin Parul, wife of Mosharraf Hossain Musa, and Sadia Khatun, 12, daughter of Rafiqul Islam Swapan.
 
Five people went missing as a boat sank in the beel around 7:30 pm on Friday when a crack developed at its bottom.

All but five passengers swim ashore, said Taposh Kumar Paul, senior assistant superintendent of Chatmohar circle police.
