Worker dies falling off bridge in Gopalganj

Gopalganj Correspondent: A construction worker died after falling from an under-construction bridge in Ramshil village under Kotalipara upazila of the district on Friday night.

The deceased was identified as Samrat Mollah, 28, son of Isahak Mollah, hailed from Char Mativanga village under Nazirpur upazila of Pirojpur district.

Mohammad Kamrul Faruk, Officer-in-Charge of Kotalipara police station, said the worker fell down while working on bridge and drowned in the river water on Friday afternoon. Later, the body was recovered from the water at night.
