Jubo League activist killed in miscreant attack

Kishoreganj Correspondent: A Juba League activist named AKM Yusuf Monir was killed by miscreants in the district on Friday night.

His younger brother Yakub Sumon, a ward councillor of Kishoreganj municipality, was also seriously injured in the incident.

According to police, miscreants attacked the two brothers in Ishakha Road area of the town around 9:45 pm, leaving them seriously injured. Later, they were taken to Kishoreganj General Hospital. But the duty doctors declared Yusuf Monir dead at 11:30 pm.

On the other hand, seriously injured Yakub Suman was shifted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

Kishoreganj Model Police Station Officer in-Charge (OC/ Investigation) Ahsan Habib confirmed the matter.
