3 killed as private car overturns in Mymensingh

Staff Correspondent, Mymensingh:  Three people of a family were killed and three others injured as a private car overturned early Thursday.

The incident took place around 3.00am on Mymensingh-Sherpur road at Alalpur of the Sadar upazila.

The deceased were identified as Hamid member, 60, his wife Sahera Begum, 55, and their son Shariful Islam (40). They hailed from Phulchhari village under Gaibandha district.

The accident took place when the private car crashed into a roadside tree and turned turtle.

The injured were taken to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital.
