2 killed in truck-motorbike collision in Thakurgaon

Thakurgaon Correspondent: Two motorcyclists were killed after the bike they rode got hit by a truck in 29-mail area of Sadar upazila in the district on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Poresh Chandra Barman, 50, son of late Ananda Barman, hailed from Peyarigao village and Zeon, 45, son of late Muslim Uddin.

Mafidar Rahman, Thakurgaon fire service station officer said, the Rangpur-bound two bikers started their journey this morning. But, their bike collided with a truck in the area, leaving Poresh dead on the spot and injured another one critically.

Later, the injured was sent to Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital but he died on the way of the hospital.
