Bus rams motorcycle killing two college students

Staff Correspondent, Khulna: Two college students were killed and another was injured as a bus rammed their motorcycle at Rambhadrapur village of the district’s Batiaghata upazila on Saturday noon.

The deceased were known as Sohag Sheikh, 20, son of Siddique Sheikh Kultia village of the upazila and honours student of Bagerhat government PC college, and Shakil Sheikh, 21, son of Jahid Sheikh of Tolapara village of the upazila and honours student of Jashore government MM College.

The injured was known as Khulna government city college student Mozahid Sheikh, 23, also son of Shawkat Sheikh of Kultia village.

Robiul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Batiaghata Police Station, confirmed the news.

A case has been filed in this regard, the OC said.
