Rail links in Rajshahi halted

Staff Correspondent: Rail communication of Rajshahi with other parts of the country has been disrupted following derailment of a compartment of freight train in Halidagasi station area of Charghat in Rajshahi.
The derailment took place around 3:00am on Sunday. Rescue operation is underway to clear off the railway truck.
West Zone Railway Superintendent Golam Mostofa confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
Hundreds of passengers were suffering as their journeys delayed due to the train derailment.
