4 missing in N’ganj trawler capsize

Staff Correspondent, Narayanganj: At least four other people went missing as a trawler capsized in Meghna River in Galati area of Narayanganj district.
The trawler carrying around 12 people including polling officer, presiding officer, ansar men, policemen, sank in the river following a nor’wester on Sunday night.
Narayanganj naval police inspector Mostafizur Rahman said that the victims were heading towards upazila returning office after Sunday’s upazila polls.
At least four people remained missing while the rest of them managed to swim ashore.
