Myanmar to take back 440 Rohingya families

Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: Myanmar authority has agreed to take back 440 Rohingya families who fled to Bangladesh after military oppression in their homeland.

Myanmar Secretary of the Foreign Affairs Myint Thu said that his country primarily agreed to return 440 hindu Rohingya families.

He came up with the disclosure after visiting Ukhia Rohingya camp in Cox’s Bazar on Sunday.

He said, “Rohingyas were informed about preparation over their repatriation. Alongside, we came to know aout their demands in three-time meeting. Further discussion will be held with them.”

Mentionable, more than 10 lakh Rohingya people took shelter in Bangladesh in face of oppression by military in Myanmar.

A 19-member delegation led by Myint Thu reached Cox’s Bazar by aircraft on Saturday to visit Rohingya camps there.
