Dengue patients increase in Jashore

Staff Correspondent: Jashore district has witnessed a rise in the number of dengue patients. A total of 52 new patients got admitted in last 24 hours.

Jashore civil surgeon office sources said a total of 1, 317 people have been infected with the mosquito-borne disease in the district. Of them, 1,080 people left hospitals after getting treatment. Currently, 106 patients are taking treatment in Jashore general hospital. Besides, 100 patients in eight upazila health complexes while 31 patients are undergoing treatment in private hospital.  

Dr. Abul Kalam Azad, caretaker of Jashore 250 bed general hospital said, the number of dengue patients are increasing locally.
