Housewife dies of dengue

A housewife died of dengue at Khulna Medical College Hospital early Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Lavli Akter, 30, wife of Jamir Ali at Baliadanga village under Keshabpur upazila in Jashore district.

Dr. Shailendra Nath Biswas, resident physician of Khulna Medical College Hospital, said Lavli Akter was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday evening and died around 2.30am.

Dengue claimed 16 lives until Wednesday since the beginning of the year, he also said.
