Oil-laden lorry explosion kills 1 in Kushtia

A workshop owner named Selim, 28 has been killed when an oil-laden lorry exploded in Bheramara in Kushtia.

The incident took place around 11:00am on Friday in Baromail Matiya Filing Station.

Bheramara police station Officer-in-Charge Mollah Khabir Uddin said, the oil-laden lorry was sent to a workshop for repairing this morning. Meanwhile, workshop owner Selim tried to repair the lorry. At one stage, the lorry exploded, leaving Selim dead on the spot.

Later, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body, OC added.
