Two policemen killed in Naogaon road crash

Two members of Detective Branch (DB) of police were killed as a vehicle carrying them hit a roadside tree at Dhamoirhat upazila in Naogaon on Thursday night.

The deceased were identified as Assistant Sub-inspector Basir Uddin and constable Monir Hossain.

According to sources, the accident took place at Agaradigun More around 9.30pm when they were going to join a team of detectives for recovering Phensidyl syrup.

They were immediately taken to Patnitala Upazila Health Complex where duty doctors declared them dead.
