China-return student hospitalised with fever

A Bangladeshi student, who has recently returned from China, was admitted to Rangpur Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) in the town after he was diagnosed with fever on Saturday noon.
Tazdeed Hossain, son of Motaleb Hossain of Mirzaganj village in Domar upazila under Nilphamari district, was brought to the RMCH for medical tests at noon as he caught a fever.
On receiving information, Panic seized the doctors, nurses and other staff of the RMCH following the admission of Tazdeed Hossain, who has recently returned from China, to the hospital. They were spotted wearing surgical masks.
Dr Faridul Islam, director of the RMCH, said, “It can be sure after medical tests whether he (Tazdeed) is infected with coronavirus.”
