Worker dies from electrocution

A worker died from electrocution at Chandertiki area uder Trishal upazila in Mymensingh on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Babul Mia, 25, resident of Nurur Dokandar area of the area. He used to work in transmission line project in Power Grid Company of Bangladesh.

Engineer Masud Rana of the project confirmed the news.

He said Babul Mia came to contact in electric wire while he was cutting tree branches around 10:00am on Saturday. He was rushed to Trishal Upazila Health Complex where duty doctors declared him dead.
