Easy bike driver with coronavirus symptoms dies in Kushtia

An easy bike driver with coronavirus symptoms has died in Chourhas area of Kushtia town, creating huge panic in the locality.
Family members of the deceased took him to Kushtia General Hospital around 7.30am on Monday where the duty doctors declared him dead.

After the death, the local administration locked down several houses beside the deceased’s house.
Kushtia Civil Surgeon Dr H M Anwarul Islam said it is not clear that he was suffering from coronavirus, but he had fever and some other coronavirus symptoms.

Sample will be collected and they will contact Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), he added.
