Two Rohingyas killed in ‘gunfight’ with RAB

Two suspected Rohingya robbers were killed in a ‘gunfight’ with RAB in Shalbagan area under Teknafupazila in Cox’s Bazar early Friday.

The deceased were identified as Hakim, 35, and Rashid, 30.

In a message, RAB-15 said on information, a team of RAB men conducted a drive in the area. Sensing the presence of law enforcers, the criminals opened fire on them, forcing them to fire back, triggering the gunfight. Later, two bodies were recovered from the spot.

RAB men also recovered huge firearms from the spot.

Two bodies have been handed over to police.
