Nine RAB officials test coronavirus positive in Nilphamari

Nine more officials of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have tested positive for coronavirus in Nilphamari, raising the total number of infected RAB personnel in the district to 18.

Nilphamari Civil Surgeon Ranjit Kumar Barman confirmed the news on Thursday afternoon.

Mentionable, a total of 108 coronavirus infected patients have been detected in the district so far. Of them, 47 are from sadar upazila while 11 from Domar, 15 from Dimla, 9 from Jaldhaka, 8 from Kishoreganj and 18 from Sayeedpur upazila.

However, two persons died of coronavirus in the districts while 38 made recovery.
