Gopalganj coronavirus cases rise to 183

15 more coronavirus patients have been detected in Gopalganj, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the district to 183.

Dr Niaz Mohammad, civil surgeon of the district, revealed the information on Saturday morning.

Among the new patients, eight are in Muksudpur upazila, three in Kotalipara upazila, three in Kashiani upazila and one in Tungipara upazila.

Of those infected originally, one has died of the deadly virus and 58 recovered so far in the district, he said.
