Mild earthquake felt in Rangpur

A mild earthquake on Sunday (June 28) jolted different parts of Rangpur and adjoining districts.
The tremor, measuring 4.5 magnitude on Richter scale, was felt at around 11:54am, said Met Office adding that the epicentre of the earthquake was in India and Myanmar border areas.
The tremor was felt in Dinajpur, Thakurgaon, Panchagarh, Nilphamari, Lalmonirhat, Kurigram and Gaibandha.
No causalities have been reported so far.
