Two more die of coronavirus in Satkhira

Two more people have died after being infected with the novel coronavirus in Satkhira.

With this, the number of deaths in coronavirus in the district has stood at three.

On Sunday night, Dr. Jayant Sarkar, medical officer of the Satkhira Civil Surgeon’s office, confirmed the matter.

He said Kazi Matin, 60, of Sultanpur in Satkhira town, and Bazlur Rahman Gazi, 40, of Baruihati village in Tala upazila, died at their respective homes on Friday night while undergoing treatment.
 
Their report came positive in the lab test at Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST).

Earlier, Anil Biswas, 70, of Ghalghalia village in Debhata upazila, died at Debhata Upazila Health Complex on June 23.
