Chattogram reports 133 new Covid-19 cases, no deaths

A total of 133 new coronavirus or Covid-19 patients have been detected in Chattogram metropolitan area and Chattogram district in last 24 hours, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the port city to 13,198.

But no deaths were reported over the same period.

Of those newly infected, 91 were from Chattogram metropolitan area and the remaining 42 from different upazilas of Chattogram district.

Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi, civil surgeon of Chattogram, confirmed the information on Wednesday (July 22) morning.

133 more people have been found infected with coronavirus or Covid-19 after carrying out sample tests of 809 people in five public and private labs in Chattogram in last 24 hours, the civil surgeon said.
