Four held in Lalmonirhat for intrusion from India

Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB) has held four people for illegally intruding into Bangladesh from India through Dahgram-Angorpota border of Lalmonirhat.
According to Patgram Police Station, the detainees were known as Waliullah, 34, son of Abdus Samad of Mohishdanga village under Amtoli upazila of Barguna, Murad Hossain, 25, son of Abdul Hakim of Chandpasha village under Shibpur upazila of Narsingdi, Imran Hossain, 22, son of Amzad Hossain of Kazirdor village under Moheshpur upazila of Jhenidah, and Moniruzzaman, 43, son of Mojibor Rahman of Kamadia village under Nagarkanda upazila of Faridpur.
Sumon Kumar Mohonto, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Patgram Police Station, told risingbd that they were trying to enter Bangladesh illegally around 1:00am on Friday. Then, members of BGB held them and handed them over to police. They were sent to jail through the court.
