5 dead dolphins found on Kuakata beach in 3 weeks

Five dolphins were found dead on Kuakata sea beach in three weeks.

Bodies of five dolphins were found lying on the beach, according to local people.

A seven feet long dead dolphin named Iraboti floated to the Block Point area of the beach around 2:00 pm on Saturday (August 21) within a span of 12 hours after two dolphins were found dead there around 11:30 am on August 20.

The local people also spotted injury marks on the body of the dolphin.

Earlier, two more dolphins were found dead on the beach on August 9.

With them, a total of five dead dolphins floated to the beach in the month of August.

A total of 10 dead dolphins, with injury marks on their bodies, have been found at different points of Kuakata sea beach this year.
