10 SUST students hospitalized as they fall sick during strike

Ten students of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) fell sick as they went on “hunger strike until death” in front of the VC’s residence demanding his resignation.

They were admitted to different hospitals. So far, none of them have broken their fast.

Twenty-four SUST students went on strike demanding the resignation of Vice Chancellor Farid Uddin Ahmed from 3:00 pm on Wednesday (January 19).
