Nine workers burnt in Rupganj chemical factory fire

At least nine workers were burnt in a fire broke out at a chemical factory at Rupganj in Narayanganj.
The injured have been admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka. Among them condition of four workers are very critical, fire service sources said.
The fire broke out at Lily Chemical Compnay owned by AKM Selim in Golakandail area under Bhulta union of the upazila around 11.30pm on Tuesday.
Being informed, three units from Araihazar and Adamjee fire stations rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control around 1.00am.
The injured are Bayazid, Rokon, Khademul, Sajib, Ripon, Mehedi Hasan, Rasel, Akalu and Mujahid.
