Hili land port to remain closed for 8 days

Hili land port in Dinajpur will remain closed for eight days from September 29 on the occasion of Durga Puja, the largest religious festival of Hindu community, and weekly holiday.

Export-import activities between Bangladesh and India through the land port will remain suspended during that time.

Hili Customs Deputy Commissioner Biojid Hossain confirmed the news.

He said trade activities will remain suspended at that time.

The land port will reopen on October 8.
