Two killed as truck hits microbus in Cumilla

Two were killed and three others injured after a truck hit a microbus at Daudkandi upazila in Cumilla on Sunday (May 28).

The accident took place at Shahidnagar area on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway around 8:30am.

One of the deceased was identified as Badshah Mia, a resident of Bhabanipur village in the upazila and the other could not be identified immediately. The deceased were the microbus passengers.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Daudkandi Highway Police Station Jahangir Alam said a truck hit a microbus on the Dhaka-bound road of the south side of MA Jolil High School, leaving two microbus passengers dead on the spot and three others injured.
