Outsiders asked to leave Barishal city areas by midnight

Barishal Metropolitan Police (BMP) asked the outsiders to leave the Barishal City Corporation area by the midnight of Saturday (June 10), ahead of the city elections scheduled to be held on June 12.

BMP Commissioner Md Saiful Islam came up with the instruction at a press conference held at his office on Saturday.

He said they will conduct drives after midnight. Except any valid reasons like treatment, no outsiders will be allowed to stay in the city.

He, however, said they may overlook if any outsiders came to the city on official duty related to the election.
