Rampal power plant resumes production

Power production at the Rampal thermal power plant in Bagerhat has resumed after three days of shutdown.

The production, which was halted due to a technical glitch, resumed at 7:00pm on Monday (September 18).

Anwarul Azim, deputy general manager of Bangladesh-India Friendship Power Company Limited (BIFPCL) confirmed the matter.

Earlier, the power generation was suspended due to a technical problem on September 14.
