3 damaged bogies removed, train services restored

Three bogies that were damaged during the Bhairab train collision have been removed from the railway track and train services were restored after around 8 hours.

Bhairab Railway Station Master Md Yusuf confirmed the information on Tuesday (October 24).

The accident that killed 17 and injured more than a hundred passengers happened when passenger train Egarosindhur Express collided with a container train at Bhairab station around 4pm on Monday (October 23).
