Two youths killed in Satkhira road accident

Two motorcyclists were killed as a bus hit them on the Satkhira-Assasuni road in Kalerdanga area of Brahmarajpur under Satkhira sadar upazila on Friday noon.

The deceased were identified as Sheikh Moyez Hossain, 20, son of Sheikh Arefin Hossain, resident of Dahakula village under Satkhira sadar upazila, and Sheikh Ratul Hossain, 18, son of Sheikh Nafiz of Rayer Mahal area of Khulna. They were cousin.

The accident occurred around 12:00pm when they were going to Assasuni. Ratul died on the spot and Moyez was declared dead at Satkhira Sadar Hospital.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Satkhira Sadar Police Station Mahidul Islam said police has seized the bus.
