Law minister assures fast trial in police murder case

Law Minister Anisul Huq has assured that the trial in the murder case filed against BNP men over the killing of a police constable during the clash between law enforcers and BNP men in the capital’s Fakirapool area will be completed in a hurried way.

“A police constable was killed during the clash between law enforcers and BNP men in the capital’s Fakirapool area yesterday. BNP-Jamaat killed him by making a conspiracy. Nobody is now above the trial in the country. I swear the trial will be completed in a speedy way,” he said while addressing an inaugural ceremony of the newly built ‘Registration Complex’ at Mariali in Gazipur on Sunday (October 29).
