Fire at Gazipur Quality Feeds mill doused

A fire that broke out at the mill of Quality Feeds Limited at Bagher Bazar in Joydebpur area of Gazipur around 1:00pm on Sunday has been brought under control.

On information, two units of fire fighters of Sreepur Fire Service Station rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control after two hours of their frantic efforts, said Abdullah Al Arefin, deputy assistant director of Gazipur Fire Service Station.

No casualties were reported in this connection.

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
