Primary schools to remain closed if temperature drops below 10°C

The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has directed to remain all primary schools in the districts closed if temperature falls below 10 degrees Celsius.
A circular signed by Deputy Secretary Mohammad Kabir Uddin was issued in this regard on Tuesday (January 16).
According to the circular, “Severe cold waves are flowing in different districts of the country. It is being learned that regular academic activities are being disrupted due to the ongoing cold waves. For instance, the primary schools in the districts, where the temperature falls below 10 degrees Celsius, will remain closed.”
Those institutions will be shut until the maximum temperature rises to 10 degrees Celsius or above, it said.
