Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury has said the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations of the flood-affected areas will be held later.
The minister said this at a press briefing at the Secretariat on Wednesday after a meeting on national monitoring and law and order situation marking HSC and equivalent examinations.
“Initially, the HSC examinations will not be held in the areas where floods are likely to spread. We have already take preparations for taking those exams later,” he further added.
All coaching centers will be closed from June 29 to August 11, he said.
“The decision was taken with an aim to conduct the examinations in a fair and orderly manner in an environment free from rumors of question paper leaks,” he added.
