HSC exams in Sylhet division postponed 

The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent exams have been postponed in Sylhet division due to the ongoing flood situation.

Prof. Tapan Kumar Sarkar, chairman of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of Dhaka Education Board, confirmed this on Thursday.

All four exams scheduled up until July 8 have been postponed. The exams scheduled from July 9 will be held in the division as per scheduled. The exams have been postponed due to the flood situation and different school buildings are being used as shelter centres, he said.

The HSC and its equivalent exams are scheduled to begin on June 30 across the country.
