Govt to give legal aid to HSC examinees held in violence

The government has announced that if any of the detainees are current Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinees, they will receive special legal assistance for bail.

The home ministry issued a notification in this regard on Thursday (August 1).

According to the notice, the government has stipulated that during bail applications, detainees must submit their examination admit cards and relevant documents.

Additionally, for those student detainees against whom there are no serious accusations, the government will also provide legal aid for bail, it added.

Education ministry public relations officer M A Khayer said students were requested to send information at [email protected] in this regard.
