Sugar price decreased by Tk 8 per kg 

Sugar price has witnessed a fall of Tk 8 per kilogramme at Khatunganj wholesale market in Chattogram.

Joint Secretary of Sugar Dealer Traders Association Md Anwar Hossain Chowdury confirmed the matter. 

According to sources in the traders’ association, the price of sugar was Tk 126-130 per kg at the consumer level before August 5.
“Now, traders are selling sugar at Tk 118 to 120 per kg,” a business leader said.

According to sources, Tk 8 has been reduced at the wholesale market but it was seen Tk 2-3 at retail market.
