BOU gets new Pro-VC

Professor Dr. Dil Rowshan Zinnat Ara Nazneen of the political science department of Dhaka University has been appointed as new Pro-Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh Open University (BOU).

The tenure of her appointment will be four years from the date of her joining the office, according to a gazette notification, signed by Deputy Secretary Md. Shaheenur Islam.

“Under Article 14(1) Act, 1992, of the Open University Prof. Dr. Dil Rowshan Zinnat Ara Nazneen has been appointed as Pro-VC of Bangladesh Open University, Gazipur,” said the notification. 

She will receive payments equivalent to his current position.

She will also enjoy all other benefits related to the post as per the university's rules.

Besides, she will exercise the powers and perform the duties prescribed by the university's statutes and laws.
