1388 colleges see 100% pass rate

The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations of 2024 have been published with a pass rate of 77.78% in 11 education boards of Bangladesh.

A total of 1,45,911 students obtained GPA-5 this year.

However, a total of 1,388 educational institutions achieved a 100% pass rate in this year’s HSC and its equivalent examinations.

Of those, 57 institutions are from Dhaka Board, 35 from Rajshahi, 10 from Cumilla, 13 from Jashore, 13 from Chattogram, 21 from Barisal, eight from Sylhet, 15 from Dinajpur and five from Mymensingh while the number of hundred percent successful institutions under Madrasa Board is 961 and 250 in Technical Education Board.
 
A total of 953 educational institutions achieved 100% pass in the HSC and its equivalent exams last year.

Students from 9,187 institutions participated in this year’s exams. The overall pass rate for the HSC and equivalent exams in 2024 is 77.78%, which is slightly lower than the previous year’s 78.64%.

This year, the exams took place across 2,695 centres under 11 education boards, with 1,450,790 students participating.
