Sheikh family`s names from 13 universities removed

The interim government has decided to change the names of 13 universities that were named after Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members.
Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain
shared the information on his verified Facebook account on Thursday (January 16).
The institutions are Sheikh Hasina University, Netrakona has been renamed Netrakona University; Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University, Kishoreganj renamed Kishoreganj University; Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University, Naogaon renamed Naogaon University; Mujibnagar University, Meherpur renamed Meherpur University; Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agriculture University, Gazipur now renamed to Gazipur Agriculture University; Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Shariatpur Agriculture University changed to Shariatpur Agriculture University;
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh has been renamed to Bangladesh Digital University; Bangamata Sheikh Fajilatunnesa Mujib Science and Technology University, Jamalpur changed to Jamalpur Science and Technology University; Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University, Pirojpur changed to Pirojpur Science and Technology University; Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University, Narayanganj to Narayanganj Science and Technology University; Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University , Gopalganj to Gopalganj Science and Technology University; Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University in Chattogram to Maritime University Bangladesh; and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University to Aviation and Aerospace University Bangladesh.
