Chase-counter chase between DU, affiliated college students

A chase and counter chase between Dhaka University and DU affiliated seven college students took place in Nilkhet area on yesterday night.

Following the clash dozens of students from two sides received injuries.

A total of four platoons of BGB members were deployed in the area to keep the situation under control.

Md Shariful Islam, the Public Relations Officer at the BGB headquarters confirmed the matter.

Earlier, the chase and counter-chase began at about 11:30 pm on the day as students tried to enter into the DU campus through the Nilkhet area.
