New BCL body formed at Yunnan in China

Humayun Kabir from China: S M Jakaria Hossain and Sajjad Hossain Saju have been made as the president and secretary respectively of Bangladesh Chhatra League, students’ wing of ruling Awami League backed organization, of Yunnan Province unit in China.

A press release signed by the China BCL unit president Kazi Naim and secretary Syed Rakibul Islam Rakib confirmed this on Saturday.

The others members of the committee are- M Sabbir Hossen, SM Zobayer Himel, and Rasel Reza as vice-presidents, SM Mustafizur Rahman, Sajib Biswas and M Rasheduzzaman as joint-secretaries, Saad Uddin, Muhammad Ali Ahsan Bejoy and Salman Khan as organising secretary.

Earlier, a full-fledge body of Kunming City BCL unit was announced making Hasan Shahriar as president and Humayun Kabir as secretary.

China BCL unit secretary Syed Rakibul Islam Rakib told risingbd.com that they had formally formed the committee. And the members of the committee will hold their posts for the next one year, he added.
