Admit card for re-tests of DU ‘Gha’ unit from Nov 5

Staff Correspondent: The admit card for the “Gha” unit re-admission tests of Dhaka University (DU) for the academic year 2018-19 will be available from November 5.

The applicants can download their admit cards afresh from 5:00pm on November 5 to 2:00pm on November 16. The roll number issued previously will remain the same. The re-tests will be held at different centres of the university at 3:00pm on November 16, according to a press release issued by the university’s public relations office on Saturday.

Earlier on October 23, the Dhaka University authorities decided to retake tests of around 18,500 students who cleared the “Gha” unit admission tests, citing they found proof that the questions were leaked.

The decision was made at a meeting of Deans' Committee held at the vice-chancellor's office on the day, with DU VC Prof Akhtaruzzaman in the chair.

The admission tests for "Gha" unit were held on October 12 amid allegations of question paper leak. The university authorities later postponed the "Gha" unit admission test results following allegations of question paper leak.
