Anti-terrorists Students Unity emerges in DU

Anti-terrorists Students Unity, a new alliance of several students organisations, has emerged in Dhaka University (DU) to press home to meet 4-point demand including attack on DUCSU VP Nurul Haque and his associates.

The new alliance formed with 12 different students organisations emerged through announcement in a press briefing on Friday afternoon. However, Jatiyabadi Chhatra DaL (JCD), student wing of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) was not included in the alliance.

The12 student wings are: Bangladesh General Students' Rights Protection Council, Bangladesh Students' Federation, Socialist Students Front, Bangladesh Students' Union, Biplobi Chhatra Maitree, Biplobi Chhatra-Jubo Andolan, Pahari Chhatra Parishad, Nagarik Chhatra Oikya, Chhatra Mancha and Swatantra Chhatra Jote.
