Female students ahead in HSC pass rate

The female students have achieved better results than the male students in this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations.

In this year, the pass rate of female students is 87.48 percent while the rate of male students is 84.53 percent.

About 85.95 per cent candidates have passed this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations.

A total of 1,78,437students have secured GPA-5 in HSC and its equivalent examinations.

A total of 95,721 female students have secured GPA-5 while 80,561 male students have secured GPA-5.
